Not to be missed.Review quote: previous edition:This is the novel we have been waiting for . . . It will become a classic.Review quote: previous edition:An urgent story beautifully told.Review quote: previous edition:This is a great writer coming into being. She has a wonderful sense of relationships, a wonderful sense of people, a wonderful sense of place. She exposes the oppression, of women in particular, in a manner that I think is beautiful, because you can”t disagree. She is not making heavy weather of this – it is as natural as the grass grows.Review quote: previous edition:I couldn”t put it down.
